Job description
Position Objective
Maximize hotel revenue and profitability through the strategic management of rates, inventory, and distribution channels, based on data analysis, market trends, and demand behavior.
Main Responsibilities
Define and execute pricing strategies by segment, season, and distribution channel
Analyze daily:
Occupancy
ADR (Average Daily Rate)
RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room)
Manage room inventory across all distribution channels (OTAs, website, wholesalers, etc.)
Optimize online distribution channels (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.)
Prepare demand forecasts (short, medium, and long term)
Monitor competitors (benchmarking)
Coordinate with:
Sales
Marketing
Reservations
Operations
Adjust strategies in real time based on:
Pick-up trends
Cancellations
Events or market changes
Oversee restrictions such as:
Minimum Length of Stay (LOS)
Stop-sell controls
Controlled overbooking
Generate executive reports for management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in:
Hospitality Management
Tourism
Finance / Economics
Experience:
2–5 years in revenue management, reservations, or front office operations
Knowledge of:
PMS systems (Opera, etc.)
Channel Manager systems
RMS (Revenue Management Systems)
OTAs, GDS, and related platforms
Amadeus
Advanced Excel skills / data analysis
